about the grist mill

The Burnt Cabins Grist Mill, dating back to 1840 built by the Dubbs Family, is a historic mill located in the eastern Alleghenies of South-Central PA. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The mill serves as a touchstone to history and the inspiration for the delicious mixes we offer on-site, online and at locally-owned markets and grocers.
